Aschroft Anthony strengthens team
Corporate finance partner and practice manager appointed
CAMBRIDGESHIRE ACCOUNTANTS Ashcroft Anthony has made a brace of new appointments.
Tom Gallop joins as a corporate finance partner, while Josephine Sclater becomes the firm’s new practice manager.
Former Baker Tilly employee, Gallop, brings with him more then 15 years’ experience gleaned on a range of corporate transactions and fundraising projects. He recently advised the management team of Kirton Healthcare Group, based in Haverhill, on the £5.5m management buyout from the founders, securing funding from NVM Private Equity.
He has also marketed and sold numerous businesses in recent years, including the Cambridge cyber security firm 7safe, sold to PA Consulting, and Peterborough based Taskforce Recruitment, sold to Staffline Group plc.
Gallop also worked for Deloitte in Cambridge and London.
Practice manager Sclater originally trained as an operations manager at Goldman Sachs International and spent the last three years working for a private equity real estate company in London.
She has also worked in professional services for over 15 years and will now work with the partners to “grow the firm and deliver outstanding client service”.
