Beechams' international offering a boon to Price Bailey in merger deal
LONG-RUNNING City-based firm Beechams has merged with Price Bailey.
The 60-year old firm, headed by Ravi Parmar and Stephen Ufland, has transferred into Price Bailey’s London office. Eleven Beechams staff have moved across to Price Bailey, with no redundancies.
The deal was made to extend the range of Beechams’ offering to its international business and UK SME clients.
Ufland said: “We are absolutely delighted to be joining Price Bailey. After determining that it was in the best of interests of our clients, employees and partners that we join a larger firm, Price Bailey stood out from amongst our various options. The two firms have shared values and very similar philosophies.”
Martin Clapson, Price Bailey MD, said: “I have been very impressed with Beechams since our first meeting. As fellow UK 200 members we knew we could rely on their professionalism and competence and their work in North America in particular will add to our global connections.”
Price Bailey, based in Bishops Stortford, is ranked 31 in the Accountancy Age Top 50+50 Survey of Firms, with £20.3m in revenues for the y/e 31 March 2014.
