Moore Stephens confirms arrivals of Timothy Fussell, Kevin Phillips and Vincent Wood from Baker Tilly
TOP TEN firm Moore Stephens has confirmed the arrival of Timothy Fussell, Kevin Phillips and Vincent Wood as it beefs up its tax practice.
All three join from Baker Tilly, and was originally reported by Accountancy Age in September as part of a move which saw Baker Tilly’s COO Jon Randall also make the switch.
Fussell originally joined Baker Tilly in 1997 after an eight-year spell with EY, which culminated in a post as tax manager. Just as he did at Baker Tilly, he will focus on corporate tax affairs.
Phillips, who spent ten years with Baker Tilly, will specialise in international tax issues, particularly around the energy, mining and renewables sectors.
Wood had a 14-year stint at Baker Tilly as a tax partner following more than five years with Arthur Andersen.
“We see great potential to develop opportunities for clients – as well as for the firm – by working closely with the Moore Stephens International network,” said Phillips. “By building relationships with colleagues internationally, we can advise clients looking to expand overseas, and those wanting to invest in UK operations.”
