Broad range of service line and regions represented in BDO's latest round of partner appointments
A BROAD SPECTRUM of new partner appointments has been made by BDO.
Five of the new partners are home-grown talent, having previously trained within the firm, and four are external sector experts: all promotions commencing from 6 July.
Operating across 18 business units across the country, the promotions are representative of its geographical reach and breadth of services.
Ryan Ferguson is now partner specialising in audit within its London office. He was trained internally with BDO. Dan Brookes is made partner in the firm’s Yorkshire site, specialising in advising large corporates and leading the development of tax work to BDO’s larger international clients.
Other appointments were made Scotland to East Anglia, and from business services to audit and tax.
Simon Michaels, BDO managing partner, said: “BDO has grown by 40% over the last three years, both through the merger and organically. These nine new partners, from home-grown talent to sector experts all over the UK, will enable us to strengthen our mid-market position and continue to challenge for larger FTSE companies.”
BDO has recently called for a greater government focus on the mid-market, in its own manifesto.
The firm has been positioned number one for client service by the Mid-Market Monitor for the past three years.
